2017 River Oaks Homes in Santa Maria CA Market Update

The River Oaks Community is a collection of newer homes in north east Santa Maria. The neighborhood offers a secluded feel and borders the Santa Maria Riverbed and walking trails. At the center of the neighborhood is Ida Redmond Taylor Elementary, and directly behind the school is a community park which includes a man made lake, playground, and picnic area.  These homes were constructed between approximately 1999 and 2003 and feature two one story plans and at least three two story plans. River Oaks homes range from 1,400 – 2,800 square feet in size. There were some builder options that resulted in varying floor plans.  Concrete tile roofing, stucco exteriors, vaulted or cathedral ceilings, and an abundance of windows make these homes stand out. Some River Oaks homes have two car garages and some of the two story homes offer three car garages. There is no HOA in River Oaks, yet the pride of ownership shines through.  The community offers convenient access to shopping, restaurants, banking, and San Luis Obispo is a short drive away.
