The Edgewood Homes in Orcutt are a delightful collection of one and two story homes just west of Bradley Road and north of Union Valley Parkway, adjacent to the Oak Knoll neighborhood and St. Joseph High School. These homes are about a 20 minute drive to Vandenberg AFB. They were built in the mid to late 1980′s and range in size from 1300 sq. ft. to 1800 sq. ft. Cal STRS Home Loan Program for Santa Maria & Lompoc Teachers

Local teachers in Santa Maria & Lompoc may be eligible for the home ownership loan programs available through the California State Teachers Retirement Program (“Cal STRS’). Eligible participants can apply for several different loan options which can increase borrowing power and lower down payment requirements. The Las Brisas Community in Orcutt CA

Although not a gated community, Las Brisas offers a private setting for those who desire relative seclusion. There are two entrances into Las Brisas and the streets curve into an artful collection of cul-de-sacs and private parks. Importantly, there are no thoroughfares so traffic cannot cut through the community. The location of the community is convenient for those who are commuting as you are only a short skip to Highway 101′s Santa Maria Way exit/onramp. One story and two story plans between 1100 square feet and 1800 square feet are offered with concrete tile roofs and two car garages. Home buyers focusing on central coast foreclosure properties are running up against lender pre-qualification requirements when bidding for bank owned properties. Many of the bank owned (REO) property listings require that potential buyers get pre-qualified with their company in order to place a bid on the property.
