The Edgewood Homes in Orcutt are a delightful collection of one and two story homes just west of Bradley Road and north of Union Valley Parkway, adjacent to the Oak Knoll neighborhood and St. Joseph High School. These homes are about a 20 minute drive to Vandenberg AFB. They were built in the mid to late 1980′s and range in size from 1300 sq. ft. to 1800 sq. ft. Santa Barbara County Property Tax Informal Assessment Review Requests Due March 15, 2009

For those who wish to request an informal property tax review from the Santa Barbara County Assessors office, the deadline to apply is March 15, 2009. It appears that the dealine for an informal review has moved up two months, as the previous year’s form had May 15th as the deadline to apply for informal review. By applying, you can submit comparative sales to help the Assessor’s office come up with a reasonable value for your property for tax assessment purposes. Continue reading →

Built in 2004 and 2005, Arborwalk is located at the intersection of Miller & McCoy in the heart of “New” Santa Maria. This gated development is close to shopping, banks, and restaurants and it offers a fitness trail, greenbelt basin, and rose gardens throughout. Once you drive home you truly don’t need your car; you can get out and walk to everything; units in this development earn high “walkability” scores.
