2012 Pismo Beach CA Mid-Year Real Estate Market Update

The first half of 2011, foreclosures and short sales comprised 26% of the Pismo Beach real estate market, and that number dramatically decreased to about 10% in 2012.  The number of short sales went down considerably.  Average sale price went down about 4%, and average asking price plummeted 12.4%.  Of course, the asking prices could reflect the type of properties that were listed during that time period more than sellers actually asking less for their properties.
